Priscilla I. DeCent

Funeral service for Priscilla Idella DeCent, 82, of Embarrass, will be 11am Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at First Baptist Church in Aurora with Rev. Karl Helwig officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 5-7pm at Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Embarrass Cemetery. Mrs. DeCent died Wed. April 20, 2011 at Essentia Health - Northern Pines Medical Center in Aurora. She was born July 1, 1928 in Trommald, MN to Carroll and Emma (Ellis) Dingman. In her earlier years she was a caregiver to her parents and later married Allan DeCent on Jan. 15, 1960. She was a homemaker and a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Her hobbies included sewing quilts and baking bread. Survivors include her husband, Allan; children: Mary Lou Sherman, Robert (Vickie) Warren, Phyllis (Darald) Bogart, William (Patty) Warren, Bruce (Melinda) Warren, Susan (Steven) Ferrell, Carmen Mayzsak, Rod (Melody) DeCent and George (Chris) DeCent; 26 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; siblings: Edward Dingman, Deloris Ellis, LaVonne Fox, Valerie Race, Darlene Burgstaler and Shirley Hand; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Kenneth; several brothers and sisters; grandson, Russell; two great grandchildren: Hayden and Gracie.
