John E. Rewertz

Memorial service for John Edward Rewertz, 50, of Virginia, will be 11am Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora with Chaplain Steve Tomberlin officiating. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Aurora. John died Sat. May 14, 2011 at his residence. He was born Dec. 5, 1960 in Virginia, MN to Lloyd and Dorothy (Helgerson) Rewertz. John attended Aurora/Hoyt Lakes schools and later attended Duluth Culinary School. Survivors include his daughter, Jonnie and her mother, Nancyann; his mother, Dorothy (Don) Bell of Hibbing; siblings: Larry (Ella) Rewertz of Palo, Debbie (Don) Tennison of Baxter, Bonita (Don) Johnson of Aurora, Mark Rewertz of Aurora and Laurel Martin of Hibbing; step-children: Daniel Morrison, Danette Lambert, Terrie Lambert and Brittany Lambert; two step-grandchildren: Riley and Calyen Lambert; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd; brothers: Thomas and Michael; sister-in-law, Joyce Rewertz; nephew, Luke Tennison
