Leslie Roger "Kipper" Kippley

Funeral Mass for Leslie Roger "Kipper" Kippley, 62, of Palo, will be 10am Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Hoyt Lakes with Fr. Steven Daigle as celebrant. Visitation will be Monday from 5-8pm at Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora and will continue for one hour prior to mass at church. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Hoyt Lakes Memorial Cemetery. Memorials are preferred. Leslie died unexpectedly Sunday, July 17, 2011 at Essentia Health in Duluth, MN. He was born December 19, 1948 in Little Falls, MN to Clifford and Constance Beverly Kippley. Leslie was a 1966 graduate of Aurora-Hoyt Lakes High School and later continued his education at the Eveleth Vo-Tech. He worked in various capacities during his lifetime and retired from the Construction Labor Union. Kipper was a Charter Member of the BPM Motorcycle Club. Family, friends and his "club brothers" were important to him. Leslie especially enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He will be sadly missed. Survivors include his mother, Constance Beverly of Palo, siblings: Barbara (Lee) Bracy of Blue Mound, TX, Edward (Kathleen) Kippley of Aurora, Bruce (Barbara) Kippley of Pearland, TX Claudia Peden of St. Cloud, Henry (Beth) Kippley of Riverton, NJ, Martin (Ann) Kippley of Rollingsford, NH, Michael Kippley of Palo, Adam (Pamela) Kippley of St. Cloud and Thomas Kippley of Florida; numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Clifford and his brother-in-law: Tim Peden.
