Lynette M. Kuitunen

Funeral service for Lynette Marie Kuitunen, 48, of Biwabik, will be 3pm Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at St. John's Catholic Church in Biwabik with Pastor Barbara Hegfors officiating. Visitation will be today (Tuesday) from 5-7pm at Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Gilbert and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Lakeside Cemetery in Biwabik. Lynette died suddenly on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at her home. She was born Sept. 20, 1962 in Joliet, Illinois to Alden and Jean Monsrud. Following her schooling she began working at Vi's Pizza in Biwabik as a bartender. On Sept. 14, 2001 she married Jeffrey Kuitunen. Lynette worked as a Bar Manager at Fortune Bay and currently worked at Vi's Pizza and restaurant. She enjoyed playing on her dart league. Survivors include her husband, Jeff; son, Brent; mother, Jean (George) Paun of Gilbert; brother, Bruce (Bonnie) Monsrud of Wasnington; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Alden.
