Dwight A. Johnson

Funeral service for Dwight Allen Johnson, 57, of Chisholm, formerly of Hutter, will be 11am Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Gilbert. Brenda Tibbetts AIM will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Gilbert Cemetery. Dwight died Monday, September 26, 2011 at Legacy Homes in Chisholm, MN. He was born October 18, 1953 in Ada, MN to Duane and Ina Mae Johnson. Dwight was an active member of Special Olympics and enjoyed watching and attending all sports events, especially high school football games. Dwight worked at the CWDC in Virginia for many years and most recently worked part-time for the Biwabik Township. Survivors include his brothers, Peter (Kathi) Johnson, Rodney Johnson, Neil Johnson and Earl (Cathy) Johnson; several cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Douglas.
