Ellen I. Huhta

Graveside service for Ellen Irene Huhta, 86, of Duluth, formerly of Two Harbors, will be 1pm Monday October 3, 2011 in Beaver Cemetery, Beaver Twp., Aitkin Co, MN. She died Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Bayshore Health Center in Duluth, MN. Ellen was born September 2, 1925 in Lawler, MN to William and Hilma Hietalati. On Feb. 25, 1945 she married Earl Huhta. In 1949 they moved to Two Harbors and in 2000, Ellen became a resident of Bayshore Health Center. Ellen was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with family. Survivors include her daughter, Gloria Baldwin of Aurora; grandchildren, Darres and Garrene Baldwin; sisters, Edith Bodie of Gilbert and Aileen Maijala of Ordway, CO; brother, Ralph Hietalati of Cromwell; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl; son, Gaylord (2006); nephew, Michael (2008); siblings, George, Art, Nick, Ed, Matt, Shirley, Ann and Lillian and three sisters in infancy.
