Patricia K. Messner

Memorial service for Patricia "Patty" Kay Messner, 62, of Biwabik, will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, 2011 at Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora with Brenda Tibbetts, AIM officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Patty died Thurs. Nov. 3, 2011 at Essentia Health in Dululth, MN. She was born August 12, 1949 in Baraboo, WI to Duane and Beverly (Gruman) Clark. Patty was a 1976 graduate of Aurora/Hoyt Lakes High School. Following high school she worked in various capacities in St. Paul. In 1979 she married Ronald Messner. Patty was a homemaker who enjoyed reading books. She was a former member of the Colby Lake Boat Club and enjoyed waterskiing. Survivors include her husband, Ronald of Biwabik; daughter, Tara Koch of Reedsburg, WI; grandsons, Jacob and Baron; father, Duane "Scotty" Clark; siblings, Tom Clark of Wisconsin Dells, Cyndee Roberts of Los Angeles, and Sharon (Kurt) Jensen of Bass Lake; father and mother-in-law, Robert and Doris Messner of Hoyt Lakes; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Beverly and a sister, Diane Powell.
