Mary G. Borochan

Funeral Mass for Mary G. Borochan, 97, of Virginia, will be 10am Monday, January 30, 2012 in St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Gilbert with Fr. Frank Perkovich as celebrant. Visitation will be one hour prior to the mass at church. Burial will be in the Gilbert Cemetery. Arrangements by Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Gilbert. Ms. Borochan died Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at St. Michael's Health and Rehab in Virginia, MN. She was born August 16, 1914 in Gilbert, MN to Frank and Mary (Strah) Borochan. Mary attended school in Gilbert and later moved to Chicago. There she worked for Exxon Oil Company for many years. In the late 1990's she returned to Virginia, MN and was a devout Catholic and member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Survivors include her cousins, Edward Ferkul, Kathleen Ferkul and Mark Ferkul. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Frank.
