Funeral service for Pearl Florence Cobetto, 87, of Eveleth, will be 2pm Sunday, February 19, 2012 at First Baptist Church in Aurora with Rev. Roger Inouye officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN. Arrangements by Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora. Inlieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. Pearl died Tues. Feb. 14, 2012 at Willow Wood Assisted Living in Eveleth. Pearl was born May 24, 1924 in Chisholm, MN to Stefan and Mary (Fetich) Dunda. Following high school, she married James Anthony Cobetto on January 23, 1946 in Chisholm, MN. While living in Chisholm, she worked at Lundell's Bakery. In 1968 the family moved to North St. Paul where she worked for the US Postal Service for nearly 25 years. Pearl resided in Forest Lake, MN prior to moving to Eveleth in 2005. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Wyoming, MN. Survivors include her children, Kathy (Rod) Hansen of Aurora, Janice Bohac of Kansasville, WI and Jon (Sandra) Cobetto of St. Paul; grandchildren, Dan (Tanya) Hansen, Jaramy Hansen, Caitlin, Bart and Sean Bohac, Kristina and Brian Cobetto; four great grandchildren; sisters, Helen Fryckman of Chisholm and Ann Rautiola of Angora; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; son-in-law, Barry Bohac and eleven siblings.
