Funeral Mass for Patricia Ann Stetson, 79, formerly of Hoyt Lakes, will be 10am Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Hoyt Lakes with Fr. Steven Daigle as celebrant. Visitation will be one hour prior to the mass at church. Burial will be in the Hoyt Lakes Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements by Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora. Patricia died Friday, February 17, 2012 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids, MN. She was born March 16, 1932 in Ironwood, Michigan to John and Margaret (Sullivan) McManman. Patricia was a 1950 graduate of St. Ambrose High School and a 1953 graduate of St. Scholastica in Duluth as a registered nurse. She worked as a registered nurse for one year in Duluth. On July 17, 1954 she married Harland Stetson in Ironwood, MI. The family moved to Hoyt Lakes in 1961. Patricia was an active member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, its choir, Council of Catholic Women and was active in its renovation project. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, playing cards and dance club. Patricia was an excellent cook, interior decorator and homemaker. She especially enjoyed time spent with her family and was very proud to be one hundred percent Irish. Survivors include her children, Mary (Thomas) Greenstein of Roseville, James (Clare) Stetson of Andover, John Stetson of Circle Pines and Daniel Stetson of Blaine; grandchildren, Michael Greenstein, Justin, Amanda and Joseph Stetson, Megan and Alex Stetson; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harland; one brother; four sisters.
