Funeral service for Pauline R. Truax, 69, of Hoyt Lakes, will be 1:30pm Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Faith Lutheran Church in Hoyt Lakes with Rev. Charles Barnes officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Hoyt Lakes Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements by Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. Pauline died suddenly on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Northern Pines Medical Center in Aurora, MN. She was born February 28, 1943 to Clarence and Frances Johnson. Pauline married Gale Truax on March 25, 1961 in Webster, MN. In 1971 the family moved to Hoyt Lakes where Pauline worked as a daycare provider for over 30 years. Pauline was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church, where she currently served on the Board of Education, secretary of WELCA, and was an active participant in its quilting and exercise groups. She was a meals-on-wheels volunteer and enjoyed her card clubs. Pauline was also a member of the Hoyt Lakes Garden Club. Survivors include her husband, Gale; children, Jeff Truax of Duluth, Penny (Mark) Hagley of Duluth and Missy (Marty) Wippler of White Bear Lake; grandchildren, Sarah Beth Larson, Cassie Truax, Jack Hagley, Caden and Paige Wippler; one great grandchild, Channing Truax; siblings, Ray Johnson, Clarence Johnson Jr., Donald Johnson, Richard Johnson, Gene Johnson, Larry Johnson, Karen Gudim and Cathy Spartz; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings, Gary and Jim Johnson.
