Jene Rose Plevell

Funeral Mass for Jene Rose Plevell, 79, of Aurora, will be 1pm Friday, May 18, 2012 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Aurora with Fr. Steven Daigle as celebrant. Visitation will be one hour prior to the mass at church. Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Aurora. Arrangements by Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora. Memorials are preferred to an organization of the donor's choice. Jene died Sunday, May 13, 2012 at Essentia Health in Duluth, MN. She was born March 9, 1933 in Aurora, MN to John Sr. and Pauline (Zakrajsek) Plevell. Jene was a 1951 graduate of Aurora High School and later attended Duluth Business College. She moved to California and worked as an executive secretary in the film production industry. Later, she worked in San Francisco as a secretary for Coen Industry. Following her retirement she moved to Reno, Nevada where she lived the past ten years. Jene returned to Aurora in March 2012. Survivors include her siblings, John Jr. (Joanne) Plevell of Aurora, Louis (Carol) Plevell of Hastings, Jim Plevell of Aurora and Bernice (Edward) Ceglar of Aurora; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Florence, Pauline, Mary, Frank, Tony, Stanley and Joseph in infancy.
