Memorial service for Gerald "Jerry" Ray Fausone, 63, of Gilbert, will be 10am Friday June 29, 2012 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Gilbert with Deacon Daniel Schultz officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will be in the Gilbert Cemetery. Arrangements by Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Gilbert. Jerry died Friday, June 22, 2012 at his residence. He was born June 1, 1949 in Detroit, Michigan to Attilio and Lillian (Larkins) Fausone. Jerry was a graduate of Calumet High School and later married Ella Kelly in Virginia, MN. Jerry was employed at Ulland Brothers as a truck driver with 28 years of service to the company. He was a member of the Minnesota Teamsters Union #646 and was a Minnesota Official Measurer for Boone and Crockett and Pope and Young. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, trapping and fishing. Jerry was a taxidermist, a master woodworker, gardener and cook who especially enjoyed eating. Jerry was considered a "Jack of all Trades". Survivors include his wife, Ella; daughters, Gina Fausone of Hibbing, Kathryn (Jack) Gritzmacher of Eveleth and Nicole (Rich) Luzovich of Gilbert; grandchildren, Alec and Max Gritzmacher and Lillian and Grayce Luzovich; brother, Joseph (Pat) Fausone of Calumet, MI; sister, Sheila (Jim) Vandenberg of Michigan; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
