FLORENCE ELIZABETH ZALLAR

A private family funeral service for Florence E. Zallar, 92, of Eveleth, formerly of Biwabik, will be held at Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Gilbert. Pastor Donald Norr will officiate. Burial will be in the Lakeside Cemetery in Biwabik, MN. Florence died Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at St. Raphael's Health and Rehab in Eveleth. She was born Nov. 14, 1919 in Markham, MN to John and Johanna Mattson. She co-owned and operated Zallar's Bar in Biwabik for over 35 years with her husband, Edward. Survivors include her children: Thomas (Marcella) Zallar of rural Gilbert, Karen Oja of Carlton and Edward "Mike" (Dianne) Zallar of Biwabik; seven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward and several brothers and sisters.
