Amy J. Elg

Amy Jean Elg, 36, passed away unexpectedly Friday August 10, 2012 in Virginia, MN. Memorial service will be held 4 PM Wednesday August 15, 2012 at United in Christ Lutheran Church of Eveleth, Rev. Joel Hegener officiating, services by Ziemer Moeglein Shatava Funeral Home. Amy was born March 9, 1976 to Gary and Connie (Salo) Elg in Virginia, MN. She graduated from Eveleth Gilbert High School '94, and Mesabi Range College with an EDAS degree, and she worked as a home health aide. Amy loved her family, especially her son Wyatt. Her generous nature, bubbly personality and smile made it easy for Amy to make friends with anyone. Her creativity came out through drawing, and poetry. Amy is dearly loved and will be sorely missed. She is preceded in death by grandfather Kenneth Elg; Aunt Darlene Lee. Amy is survived by her son Wyatt Sigman; her parents; sisters Sherri (Shad Jacka) Elg, Alisha (Kyle) Meyers, Kaylin Elg, brother Andrew (Carrie) Elg; grandparents Jean and Leroy Salo, Charlotte and Joe Fry; extended family and many friends.
