Phyllis A. Klovstad

Our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother passed away peacefully on Thursday, 16 August 2012 at Northern Pines Medical Center in Aurora, MN. Phyllis was born and raised in Detroit Lakes, MN. She resided in Hoyt Lakes where she raised her family. Phyllis was one of four sisters born to the late Louis and Lucille (Courneya) Boorom. She spent all of her life loving her family. Her home was always full of love and laughter. She loved sharing her time with family and friends. She especially loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a homemaker and devoted herself to her family. She was a long time standing member of TOPS 702 with many achievements. She was also a member of the Faith Lutheran Church Hoyt Lakes, MN and Womans Auxillary 4108 in Aurora, MN. She loved her flower gardens and making homemade treasures for family and friends. Phyllis always loved the family gatherings at all Holidays. Phyllis is survived by eight children, Timothy Howard, Linda Pellinen, Kenneth Howard, Kimberly (Rob) Marwick, Christine (Donald) Erchul, Terry Klovstad, Thomas (Kerrie) Klovstad, Donald, (Denise) Klovstad; 22 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Frances Kucera, Barbara Lavaque, Karen (Richard) Wallace; extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband George Howard and her 2nd husband Donald Klovstad, infant daughter Cynthia and son George. A memorial service will be held 1 PM Monday August 20, 2012 at Faith Lutheran Church in Hoyt Lakes with the Rev. Art Dale officiating. Internment will be held at the Hoyt Lakes Cemetary with reception to follow at the Faith Lutheran Church. Arrangements by Ziemer Moeglein Shatava Funeral Home. She will be greatly missed by all.
