Eric Knudson

Eric Knudson, 61, of Biwabik died after an 11 year battle with multiple myeloma Saturday January 19, 2013 peacefully at his residence surrounded by family. Memorial Service will be held 11 am Tuesday January 22, 2013 at Virginia Bible Chapel, 600 7th Ave W, Virginia, Minnesota. Eric was born December 4, 1951 to Lyle and LuVerne (Tweeter) Knudson in Montevideo, Minnesota. He graduated from Biwabik High School in 1971. Eric married the love of his life Diana Jean Lynn, December 23, 1982 in Romeoville, Illinois. Eric worked as an electrician and was a proud union member of IBEW 294. He also dedicated 23 years to the Biwabik volunteer ambulance and fire service, finishing as Chief after unfortunately breaking his back. Eric loved going to the hunting shack with friends and family. Eric was a very strong man, in body and will. He had tremendous love in his heart despite the occasional grumpiness. Eric's fun, supportive, and respectful personality will be dearly missed by those who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Raymond Knudson Eric is survived by his wife Diana; three children Elizabeth (Aaron) Vovk, Danielle (Kyle) Aagenes, Johnathan Knudson; five grandchildren, Noah, Veronica, Adriana, Erica, Jana; two brothers Dennis (Gloria) Knudson, Allan (Marianne) Knudson
