Funeral Mass for Patrick John Naylon, 74, of Aurora, will be 10am Monday, March 11, 2013 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Aurora with Fr. Steven Daigle as celebrant. Visitation will be one hour prior to the mass at church. Burial will take place at a later date. Military honors accorded by the Aurora/Hoyt Lakes Color Guard. Arrangements by Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora. Patrick died Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Essentia Health in Duluth, MN. He was born Feb. 6, 1939 in Mankato, MN to Joseph and Romelle Naylon. Patrick was a 1957 graduate of Mankato High School and later attended Mankato State University. Patrick served with the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a Prisoner of War for two and one half years. Patrick received the Purple Heart and several other medals. Following his discharge, he worked for the US military in Minneapolis. On March 19, 1995 he married Susan Kuchera. Here, he worked for Evergreen Industries and was a bartender, known to many as "Mr. P". He was a member of the Timothy Robinson VFW Post in Hoyt Lakes. Survivors include his wife, Susan; children, Matthew, Andrew, Joseph, Tim and Lisa; grandchildren, Lexy, Ariyahna, Riley and one expected grandchild; siblings, Judith McGlogan, Mike Naylon and Tom Naylon; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sharon; brother, Jeremiah "JoJo"
