Donna L. Tisdell

A gathering of family and friends of Donna L. Tisdell, 61, of Aurora, will be from 1-3pm Friday, April 5, 2013 at the Aurora American Legion. Arrangements by Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora. Donna died Monday, April 1, 2013 at Essentia Health in Duluth, MN. Donna was born June 30, 1951 in Grand Rapids, MN to William and Delores Hecomovich. Following her schooling, she began raising a family. Donna worked in various capacities including housekeeping, bartending and cooking. She especially enjoyed working at Clayridge in Biwabik as a housekeeper and visiting with residents. Donna was an active volunteer in Aurora. She volunteered cooking at the Legion in Aurora for many years. Survivors include her children: Glenn Moe of Virginia and Melissa Carlson of Biwabik; grandchildren: Josh Moore and Courtney Moe; great grandson: Elijah Halligan; siblings: William Hecomovich, Patricia Prica and Joseph Hecomovich; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents.
