Rosemary (Trihey) Madison, 71, of Duluth formerly of Aurora Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, April 19, 2013 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Aurora. Fr. Steven Daigle will be Celebrant. A visitation will be held one hour prior to Mass at the church. Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Aurora. Arrangements are by Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora. Rosemary Ann (Trihey) Madison, 71, of Duluth, formerly of Aurora died Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at the Benedictine Health Center in Duluth. Rosemary was born on July 4, 1941 to Thomas and Cecilia (Rork) Trihey in Morenci, AZ. She grew up and attended school in Aurora, graduating from the Aurora High School, Class of 1963. Rosemary then attended The College of St. Scholastica where she pursued a degree in social work. She then went to work as a social worker for the Wilmer State Hospital. She furthered her career at Pilot City in Minneapolis. In 1972 she began working at the Hennepin County Community Corrections as the first female corrections manager. She retired in 1996 after a long accomplished career. Rosemary was united in marriage to Leon Madison on May 8, 1987 in Minneapolis. Rosemary enjoyed quilting, cooking, and fishing. She had a very strong faith in God. She was a member of the Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Duluth where she devotedly attended adoration. Rosemary truly loved her two cats, Sweety and La Lee La. Family was extremely important to Rosemary. She shared an especially strong bond with her two nieces, Jessica and Lurendia, whom she thought of as grandchildren.
