John J. Kermouner

Mass of Christian Burial for John Joseph Kermouner, 86, of Aurora, will be 10 AM Saturday, May 25, 2013 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Aurora with Father Daigle as celebrant. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the Mass. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Aurora. Arrangements by Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora. Mr. Kermouner died Tuesday May 21, 2013 at Essentia Health St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth, Minnesota. He was born March 2, 1927 in Aurora to Jacob and Louise (Steblay) Kermouner. John graduated from Aurora High School and worked in the Iron Range mining business early in his career but primarily for the City of Aurora Public Works; retiring in 1986. John was an Army veteran serving in Korea 1948-1949. He was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. John is survived by several nieces and nephews who will deeply miss their wonderful Uncle. He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Julia Machek, Anna Hodnik, and sister in infancy; brothers: Frank and Joe, and three brothers in infancy.
