A private family graveside service for James H. Rolstone, 68, of Gilbert, was held 10:30am Tuesday, June 11, 2013 in the Gilbert Cemetery with Pastor Mickey Olson officiating. Arrangements by Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Gilbert. James died Friday, June 7, 2013 at his residence. He was born January 26, 1945 in Humboldt, Michigan to Harry and Ida (Snell) Rolstone. Following his schooling, he enlisted with the US Marines and served in Vietnam. Following his military service he married Carole Biondich on April 5, 1968. Jim worked for Longyear Construction prior to working for Erie Mining Company. He retired from LTV Steel as an electricians assistant. Jim was a member of the George and Mark Klobuchar VFW Post in Gilbert. Survivors include his wife, Carole; daughters, Nicole (Marc) Kwiatkowski of Gilbert and Noelle (Tony) Pavlin of Eveleth; son, Trent Rolstone of Gilbert; grandchildren, Jayden Rolstone-Kobal, Taya Kwiatkowski, Nicholas Rolstone and Ashley Cook; siblings, Mary (Lloyd) Nelson of Florida, Minnie Plankey, Fred (June) Rolstone, Sharon (Terry) Currie, Gail (Russ) Warner, Betty Grund and Susie (Tom) Houseman all of Michigan and Jeff (Lisa) Rolstone of Illinois; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Ida; granddaughter, Kaylee; sister, Chris Prodell; father and mother in-law, Mike and Rose Biondich; nephews, Scott and Gary Prodell; sister-in-law, Shirley Thompson.
