Kris M. Jensen

Private family services for Kris M. Jensen, 52, of Hoyt Lakes, will take place at a later date. Inurnment will be in the Hoyt Lakes Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements by Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora. Kris died unexpectedly on July 4, 2013 at his residence. He was born Sept. 23, 1960 in Virginia, MN to Kenneth and Ella (Kent) Jensen. Kris was a former employee for the City of Babbitt Public Works Dept. where he worked as a heavy equipment operator. Kris was a very kind and loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He was a gifted artist and craftsman who loved the beauty of nature. He was a wonderful man who deeply loved his family. He will be missed greatly. Survivors include his children: Justin Jensen of Shelton, WA and Krystal Jensen of Lacey, WA; grandchildren: Adrianna, Bree, Skylar and Noah; sisters: Roxanne L. Horton and family of Hoyt Lakes, Deborah A. (Ken) Brassill of Two Harbors, Shawna M. Jensen of Hoyt Lakes; brothers: Kurt J. (Sharon) Jensen of Biwabik, Mark J. Jensen of Sumner, WA and Mike B. (Brenda) Jensen of Hoyt Lakes. He is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth R. and Ella M. Jensen and his grandparents.
