Louise K. Adamic

Private family graveside services for Louise Katherine Adamic, 85, of Gilbert, will be held at a later date in the Gilbert Cemetery. The family requests no cards or memorials. Local arrangements by Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home. Louise died Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Eveleth Health Services park. Louise was born February 14, 1928 in Duluth, MN to Frank and Tomica (Marendich) Vitich. On February 27, 1960 she married Arthur Adamic. Louise was an excellent homemaker and a loving mother. She enjoyed bowling, skating, volleyball and collecting antiques. Survivors include her son, James Adamic of Gilbert; daughter, Dawn Adamic of Eveleth; sister, Helen Lind of Duluth; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Arthur "Archie", sister, Millie Frazier and a brother, John Vitich.
