Pamela Sue Woods

A gathering of family and friends of Pamela Woods, 58, of Biwabik, will take place at 4pm Friday, September 6, 2013 at the Biwabik Pavilion. Pamela died Saturday, August 31, 2013 at her home. Pamela was born on January 10, 1955 to Robert G. and Marcia (Mickelson) Woods in Virginia. She grew up and attended Biwabik High School. She continued her education at the Eveleth VoTech in the secretarial program. Pam had been employed by several different companies, most recently as a mental healthcare worker at the Merritt House in Biwabik and subsequently at the Range Mental Health Center in Virginia. In her spare time, Pam enjoyed knitting gifts for her family and friends. Pam will be remembered as sweet girl that everyone she met came to love. She loved her family dearly. Survivors include her mother, Marcia Woods of Aurora; one sister, Deborah (Robert) Johnson of Aurora; two brothers, Robert (Michele) Woods of Eveleth and Gary Woods of Biwabik; five nieces and nephews, Timothy and Matthew (Chrystal Piepus) Woods both of Eveleth; Michael and Casey Woods, both of Biwabik; and Rachel Woods of Eveleth; and four great-nieces, Natalie, Sophie, McKenzie, and Skylar. She was preceded in death by her father Robert G. Woods in 2002; her grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.
