Ronald J. Jussila

Memorial service for Ronald John Jussila, 76, of Hoyt Lakes, will be 10:30am Friday, November 8, 2013 at United Methodist Church in Aurora with Pastor Barbara Hegfors officiating. Friends may gather one hour prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Chisholm Cemetery. Arrangements by Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora, MN. Ronald died Monday, November 4, 2013 at St. Michael's Health and Rehab in Virginia, MN. Ronald was born April 21, 1937 in Hibbing, MN to John and Tyna (Koskela) Jussila. Ron was a 1955 graduate of Chisholm High School and later attended a technichal institute in Texas in the automotive industry. In his earlier years, he worked at Jussila Hardware in Chisholm which was owned and operated by his parents. On June 16, 1956 he married Margaret Mitchell in Chisholm. Ron worked as a District Representative in the automotive industry for many years. He also owned and operated Jussila General Trading in Virginia. Ron was an active member of United Methodist Church in Aurora. Survivors include his wife, Margaret; children: Brian (Shannon) Jussila of Eveleth, Douglas Jussila of Virginia and Ronelle (Jeffrey) Sheff of Iron; three grandchildren: Brianne (Steve) Pellinen, Nicole (Kyle) Nguyen and Mariah Sheff; brother, Dennis (Dianna) Jussila of Clearwater, MN; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.
