Margaret M. Drobnick

Memorial Mass for Margaret M. Drobnick, 80, of Eveleth, will be 10am Tuesday November 19, 2013 at Resurrection Catholic Church in Eveleth with Fr. John O'Donnell as celebrant. Friends may gather at the church one hour prior to the mass at church. Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Eveleth Cemetery . Arrangements are by Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Gilbert. Margaret died Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Eveleth Health Services Park . Margaret was born September 28, 1933 in Pembina , North Dakota to Frank and Mary (Jerome) Leathers. She was a graduate of Cook High School and later married Ronald Drobnick on February 9, 1950 in Eveleth. Margaret met her husband while working at the Candy Kitchen in Eveleth. She was a homemaker and a home health aide for nearly 20 years. She was also a volunteer grandma at the Chicagami Center for many years. Margaret was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church, the Eveleth Does and was an avid BINGO player. Survivors include her sons: Gary (Kathy) Drobnick of Biwabik Twp. and Tim (Linda) Drobnick of Eveleth; son-in-law, Rob Varani; four grandchildren: Tammy (Tom) Card, Tara (Shawn) Villebrun, Joe (Sara) Drobnick and Phill Drobnick; eight great grandchildren: Lora, Kristie, Molly, Magi, Brendin (Alexa), Jordan, Dylan and Jake; two great-great grandchildren: Jayden and Jason; brother, Chester Leathers of Eveleth; brothers-in-law: John (Ellen) Drobnick and William Drobnick; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Leathers of Virginia several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Judy (2006); husband, Ronald (2007); seven siblings.
