Kay Denise Taylor

Memorial Service for Kay Denise Taylor, 73, of Gilbert will be 10 AM Thursday, December 19, 2013 at the Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Gilbert with Fr. Charles Flynn officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be in the Gilbert Cemetery. Mrs. Taylor died Friday, December 13, 2013 at the Essential Health Care Center in Virginia. Kay was born on April 6, 1940 to Herbert and Delores (Puschinsky) Helf in Bemidji, MN. She grew up in Bemidji and Virginia, graduating from the Virginia High School. Following high school, Kay continued her education in secretarial studies. Kay worked for several companies, including the 49’s Union, Red Owl, and Arrowhead Transit. Kay enjoyed shopping trips with her daughter, Lori. Kay loved her family and enjoyed her granddaughters. Survivors include her son, Jody (Joetta Auel) Taylor of Gilbert; daughter, Lori (Kyle) Bruun of Gilbert; five granddaughters: Samantha and Rachel Taylor and Kerissa, Bryanna, and Brayley Bruun; three sisters, Sandy (Bob) Payne of Indiana, Jolene Nordland of Gilbert, and Diane Lasky of Virginia; three brothers, Joe (Sandy) Helf of Virginia, Dan (Carol) Helf of Hoyt Lakes, and David Helf of Gilbert; numerous nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Tim Helf of New York City, NY She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Delores Helf; her husband, Owen Taylor; and one sister, Cynthia Schoultz
