Funeral Mass for Kathy Marie Johnson, 69, of Aurora, will be 10:30 am Monday, February 3, 2014 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Aurora with Fr. Frank Perkovich as celebrant. Visitation will be one hour prior to the mass at church. Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Aurora. Arrangements by Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora. Kathy died Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Essentia - St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth. She was born January 8, 1945 in Bemidji, MN to Elmer and Kathryn Cline. Following her schooling, she married Raymond Johnson in August 1963. Kathy was a homemaker and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially camping with grandchildren, fishing and hunting. Survivors include her husband, Ray; children: Bill (Tracy Gonier) Johnson, Kevin (Dianne Shields) Johnson, Shelly (Dennis) Fairchild, Brian (Tracy) Johnson and Kenny Johnson; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings: Lola (George) Bronson, Alice Ellis, Morris (Marie) Cline, Judy (Gary) Bennett, Margo (Mark) Sampsell, Renee Johnson and Denise (Micky) DeBaere; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Kathryn Cline; brother, Gary Cline; and niece, Robin Cline.
