Norma E. Miller

Memorial service for Norma Ellen Miller, 80, of Gilbert, will be 10:30am Saturday, February 8, 2014 at United Methodist Church in Gilbert with Pastor Mickey Olson officiating. Friends may gather one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements by Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Gilbert. Norma died Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at St. Raphael's Health and Rehab in Eveleth, MN. She was born June 4, 1933 in Rushmore, MN to Fritz and Hazel (Wilson) Stomberg. Norma grew up in Menahga, MN and graduated from high school there. She married Buddy Miller on January 26, 1957 and they moved to Babbitt, MN in 1963. Norma enjoyed living in the country, fishing, taking walks and gardening. She also loved animals, hearing or telling a good joke and especially chocolate. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Buddy; children: Cindy (Danny) Lauritsen of West Eveleth and Jay (Wannette) Miller of Gilbert; grandchildren: Megan Lauritsen, Heather Miller and Colton Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Donald and James Stomberg.
