Saima M. Aho

Funeral service for Saima Maria Aho, 96, of Aurora, will be 10:30am Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Gilbert with Brenda Tibbetts officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. Saima died Friday, February 21, 2014 at Essentia Health - Northern Pines in Aurora, MN. She was born April 11, 1917 in Brantwood, WI to Nicholas and Sanna Rosenlof. She married Wayne Aho on March 25, 1933. During WWII, she worked in a factory as a Diamond Drill operator for several years. Survivors include her daughters: Lillian (William) Ahlstrand of Embarrass and Linda LeMoyne of Eveleth; grandchildren: Fred, John, Elizabeth, Yvonne, William Jr. and Maralee; several great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Wayne.
