June P. LaCount

Funeral service for June P. LaCount, 89, of Hoyt Lakes, will be 10am Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Faith Lutheran Church in Hoyt Lakes with Pastor Brendan Johnston officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be in the Hoyt Lakes Memorial Cemetery.  Arrangements by Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora.   June died Sunday, March 23, 2014 at Northland Assisted Living in Hoyt Lakes, MN.   She was born June 5, 1924 in Roseau, MN to Erik and Caroline (Bloomquist) Roseen.  June was a 1942 graduate of Roseau High School and later married George LaCount on February 27, 1943 in Roseau.   In 1957 the couple moved to Hoyt Lakes where June worked as an Avon Sales Representative.  She especially enjoyed raising her three children and being a homemaker.  June was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and its women's circles.   Survivors include her son, Terrance (Marsha) LaCount of Hoyt Lakes; daughter-in-law, Rose LaCount of Hoyt Lakes; grandchildren: Dana (Michelle) Bartholomew,  Jesse (Rachel) LaCount,  Shannon (Chris) LaCount,  Blair (Mark) Brandt and Rachel LaCount;  great grandchildren: Ashley, Evelyn, Dallas and Lillian; several nieces and nephews.   She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, George; daughter, Linda Bartholomew; son, Kim LaCount; sisters: Mabel, Thelma, Evelyn, Ellen and Gladys; brothers, George and Earl.
