Doris J. Holmi

Funeral Service for Doris Jean Holmi, 75, of rural Aurora, will be 10:30am Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Palo with Pastor Brendan Johnston officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be in the Rauha Cemetery in White Township.  Arrangements by Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora.   Doris died Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Northern Pines Medical Center in Aurora, MN.   She was born August 11, 1938 in Little Falls, MN to Charles and Jennie Broberg.  Following her schooling, she worked at Cluett Peabody Shirt Factories in Eveleth and Gilbert.  Doris first and foremost was a homemaker and mother to her children.  She also worked in the health care industry her entire life, until retirement in 2011.   Besides spending time with her family, Doris enjoyed bird watching and watching the deer walk thru the yard; especially the fawns.   Survivors include her husband, Rodney; children: Duane Kedrowski,  Keith (Lynette) Kedrowski,  Doreen (Hoss) Kedrowski and Linda (Randy) Martins;  step-children: Teresa (Tim) Lincoln and Tammy (Pat) Marbley; grandchildren: Rhonda, Lucas, Justin, Thomas, Audrie, Amy, Emily, Erin, Jonathen, Sarah, Jenna, Gabrielle, Alex, Nicholas, Kelly Jr., Karlee and Travis; several great grandchildren; siblings: Elaine Kedrowski and Vern (Kathy) Broberg; numerous nieces and nephews.   Doris is preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Amanda.
