Vicki A. Mohar

Private family services for Vicki A. Mohar, 67, of Gilbert, were held at 1pm Wednesday April 9, 2014 at Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Gilbert.  Fr. Frank Perkovich was the officiant.  Burial was in the Gilbert Cemetery.   Vicki died Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at the Virginia Convalescent Care Center.   She was born September 8, 1946 in Eveleth, MN to Richard and Viola (Gulbranson) Erchul Sr.  Vicki was a graduate of Gilbert high School and later attended Business College in the secretarial program.   On June 12, 1965 she married Richard Mohar in Gilbert.  Vicki worked for Erie Mining Company and later for the Gilbert Public Schools as a secretary until her retirement.   Vicki was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, AFSCME and the Gilbert VFW Auxiliary.  She especially enjoyed time spent at the lake cabin and attending the grandkids hockey games.   Survivors include her daughter, Rachelle (Ron) Huffman of Gilbert; son, Brian (JoAnn) Mohar of East Helena, MT; mother, Viola Erchul of Gilbert; grandchidlren: Megan and Mitchell Huffman and Matthew and Tanner Mohar; siblings: Mary Jane Patrow  and Richard (Shari) Erchul of Gilbert; several nieces and nephews also survive.   She is preceded in death by her father, Richard Sr. and her husband, Richard.
