Ann was born May 22, 1914 in Elcor Location, Minnesota to Croatian immigrants, Marco and Mary L. Biondich, the second of eight siblings. Ann attended Elcor and Gilbert Schools, later working as an assistant librarian at the Gilbert Public Library. As the second of eight children, she was entrusted and assisted in the responsibilities of the home, setting high standards for her brothers and sisters. On December 27, 1947 she married Anthony J. Nosan at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Gilbert. Ann was a devoted homemaker, a Meals-on-Wheels volunteer, a member of the Our Lady of Fatima Guild, and assisted in making pasties at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. She was an active mom in the Virginia Cub Scouts. Ann was an honorary life time member of the Croatian Fraternal Union. She hosted family dinners, excelling in serving wonderful Croatian favorites that her mother taught her. Gardening, intermixing flowers and vegetables brought her great joy. Card games with her card club completed a social afternoon. Evenings found her doing various crafts, crocheting and knitting. Her joy of tamburitzan music filled her home. Survivors include her son, Phillip Nosan of Virginia; siblings: Cathryn Kupczynski of Duluth, Sophie Erickson of Roswell, MN, Betty (Floyd "Govie") Olson of Gilbert and Elizabeth (Dennis) Deanovic of Fairbault; several nieces and nephews of whom she was very fond of. Ann is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Anthony; siblings: John, Joseph in infancy and Mary. May the angels of paradise bring you eternal happiness.
