Funeral Mass for Ada Drasler, 95, of Aurora will be 10 am Monday, October 6, 2014 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Aurora with Fr. Steven Daigle Celebrant. Visitation will be one hour prior to Mass at the church. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Aurora. Arrangements are by the Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora. Mrs. Drasler died Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Essentia Health Northern Pines in Aurora. Ada was born on March 22, 1919 to Joseph and Angelina Fondie in Aurora. She graduated from the Aurora High School, Class of 1939. Following school, Ada had been employed at a defense factory in Detroit, MI during WWII. Upon returning to the Iron Range, Ada was employed by the Arrow Shirt Factory in Gilbert. Ada was united in marriage to Jacob Drasler on May 20, 1950 in Aurora. The couple made their home in Aurora and were lifelong residents. Ada was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and the Aurora Birthday Club. She enjoyed traveling with Jacob to visit their son, Larry and his family in Vermont. Ada loved her family dearly and especially enjoyed her grandchildren. Survivors include three sons: Larry (Cheryl) Drasler of Springfield, VT, Steven (Lori) Drasler of Aurora, and Paul (Martina) Drasler of Brooklyn Park, MN; three granddaughters: Lauren Drasler of Springfield, VT, Jordan Drasler of St. Louis Park, MN, and Megan Drasler of Brooklyn Park, MN; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob; ten siblings, Tony, Mary, Christina, Viola, Henry, Amelia, Serena, Oliver, Lena, and Stanley; and her parents, Joseph and Angelina.
