The family will receive friends from 10am – 12pm, Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home, Aurora, Minnesota. Following visitation there will be a private graveside service at the Rauha Cemetery, Palo, Minnesota. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made in memory of Barbara to HPH Hospice Foundation Donation Department, 12107 Majestic Blvd., Hudson, FL 34667-2455. KAROLEVITZ, BARBARA, 79, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 8, 2014 surrounded by family. Born in Hull, England she was a long time resident of Palo, Minnesota. Barbara spent her last eight years living in Florida with daughter, Kathryn and her husband, Doug. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert, and son, Allen, she leaves her daughter Kathryn (Doug); son Paul (Carol); and daughter Janice; 6 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Barbara enjoyed travels that included places such as Cypress, Maldives, a Safari in Africa; a trip down the Nile, Maui and numerous cruises. She got pleasure from reading novels in the afternoon, her annual fishing trips to Lake Vermillion, playing Scrabble and Dominoes with her community group (The Women of the Woodlands) and her many cups of tea. Her love and caring touched the lives of her family and friends. She will be truly missed and will forever be in our hearts.
