David W Greenfield

Memorial service for David W. Greenfield will be 1 PM Saturday, January 3, 2014 at the Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora with John Young officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. David went on his final journey after a lengthy illness with his wife by his side on December 24, 2014 at the Miller Dwan ICU in Duluth, MN. He was born on October 30, 1956 to Glenn and Virginia (Reeves) Greenfield in Bakersfield, CA. He grew up and lived in California until marrying Katherine Evans on March 11, 1994 in Sacramento, CA. The couple moved to Minnesota to be near their grandchildren. David enjoyed fishing, camping, biking, traveling, taking nature walks, Star Trek and Sci-Fi, his dogs, and especially playing with his grandkids. Survivors include his wife of 21 memorable years: Kathy; daughter: Heather (Sonny) Glass of Gheen; four grandchildren: Jade, Cassandra, David, and Isaiah; Numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
