Bruce E. Volner

Funeral service for Bruce Edward Volner, 67, of Aurora, will be 12noon Friday, January 30, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Aurora with John Jacquart officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Private family burial will take place in the Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Staples, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. Arrangements by Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora. Bruce died Friday, January 23, 2015 at his residence following a seven year courageous battle with cancer. He was born August 21, 1947 in Staples, MN to John and Marian (Jares) Volner. Survivors include his wife, Karen; children: Christie (Jerome Clark) Constantine of Rosemount and Bryan (Liz) Volner of Otsego; granddaughter, Gabby and one expected grandchild; a sister, Karen Sauntman of Cottonwood, AZ. He is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings: Gary, David and Donald.
