Rudolph Glatch

Services are pending for Rudolph "Rudy" Glatch Rudy died Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Essentia Health – Virginia. He was born on Aug 16, 1923 to John and Anna (Dorsek) Glatch in Elcor, MN. He grew up and attended the Elcor/Gilbert Schools. Following school, Rudy was employed for the DM & IR Railroad from 1943 to 1950. He was later employed as a service truck driver for the J & L Mining Company for over 35 years. He was united in marriage to Kathryn Kukar on February 26, 1965 in Virginia. Rudy was a member of the St. John’s Catholic Church in Biwabik. Survivors include two step children: Barbara Skrbec of Gilbert and Bernard (Mary) Kukar of Edina and Lutsen, MN; Special nephew: James Glatch of Gilbert as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, step grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife: Kathryn; his parents, John and Anna Glatch; and several siblings.
