Patricia A. Bantz

Memorial service for Patricia A. Bantz, 75, of Gilbert, will be 10:30am Friday, May 22, 2015 at Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Gilbert with Fr. Charles Flynn officiating. Friends may gather one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be in the Gilbert Cemetery. Patricia passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Spectrum Health Carefree Living in Aurora, MN when she joined her husband Robert of 55 years. She was born May 21, 1939 in Elcor Location, Minnesota to Michael and Rose (Boitz) Kochevar. She was a graduate of Gilbert High School and later attended Beauty College. Patricia married Robert Bantz on April 11, 1959 and was a homemaker who was dedicated to raising her four children: Rosemary, Roberta, Robert Jr. and Roger. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, and the Embroidery Guild, where she earned a Blue Ribbon. She enjoyed gardening, making South Americans, baking, ceramics and traveling. She especially enjoyed times spent at the cabin with family. Survivors include her children: Rosemary (Keith) Barry of Roseau, Roberta (Tom) Parker of Pineville, Robert (Denise) Bantz of Gilbert and Roger Bantz of Plentywood, MT; brother, Lawrence Kochevar of Minneapolis and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Rose; husband, Robert; grandson, John Michael William Bantz and a brother, Francis.
