Olga Mesojedec

Funeral Service for Olga K. Mesojedec, 94, of McKinley will be 11 am Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Gilbert with Fr. Steven Daigle officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be in the Lakeside Cemetery in Biwabik at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Essentia Health - East Range Hospice. Olga died on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Essentia Health-Virginia. She was born on December 3, 1920 to Ignac and Johanna (Starin) Miklausich in Biwabik. She was raised and attended school in Biwabik, graduating from the Biwabik High School Class of 1938. On August 29, 1946 she was united in marriage to Joseph S. Mesojedec in Biwabik. The couple moved to McKinley in 1946. Olga was a homemaker and a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Biwabik. Survivors include two brothers: Robert Miklausich and Ludwig Miklausich and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph in 1992; brothers: Edward, Ignace, Frank, Valentine, and Anthony; sisters: Joann Gersetich, Angela Steblay, and infant Margaret Miklausich; and her parents.
