Funeral services for Travis Ray Warren, 37, of Aurora will be 11 am Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at the Grace and Truth Bible Church in Aurora with Pastor Dan Miller officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are by the Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora. Travis died Saturday, June 27, 2015 in Biwabik Township. He was born on December 3, 1977 to Patricia and William “Butch” Warren in Virginia. He grew up and attended school in Aurora, graduating from the Mesabi East High School, Class of 1997. Following school, Travis was employed by VanHouse Construction until moving to Kodiak Island, AK where he worked in the salmon fishing boats. On July 1, 2006 Travis married Amanda Kunnari at their family home. He was currently employed by C & C Winger. Travis enjoyed being outdoors fishing, hunting, four-wheeling, making firewood, and archery. He especially loved spending time with Amanda and his two children. Survivors include wife, Amanda; two children: Noah and Addyson; his parents: Patricia and William “Butch” Warren; his grandmother: Marion Burton of Aurora; grandfather: William Warren of Washburn, IA; two brothers: Andrew Warren of Aurora and Bryan (Samantha) Warren of Embarrass; two nieces: Marley and Elsa Warren and a nephew: Caleb Warren; Mother and father in-law: Peter and Brenda Kunnari of Aurora; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Theodore Burton and Pricilla DeCent. Travis’s family takes comfort in the fact that Travis is now with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
