Raymond Francis Houser died Aug. 9, 2015, at the Eveleth Fitzgerald Nursing Home. He was born Feb. 20, 1920, to Charles and Lena (Moser) Houser. He lived most of his life in Pine River, Minn., where he raised his family. He was a skilled carpenter and cabinet maker, doing much volunteer work for the First Methodist Church in Pine River. He was a kind and caring man, and always ready to help anyone. Survivors include daughter, Reva Tyssedal; son, Bobbie (Judy) Houser; daughter, Eva Shain; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Verna Eason; and brother, Charles Houser. He was preceded in death by his parents; two wives, Thelma (Smith), and Gladys Tyssedal; one sister, Hazel Gjertson; one stepson, Fredrick Smith. Private services will be held at a later date in Pine River, Minn.
