Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015, at the Vermilion Wellness Center in Tower. A wake will begin at 5 p.m. Friday evening at the Vermilion Wellness Center and will and continue until the service begins. Burial will be in the Bois Forte/Vermilion Cemetery. Wade Steven Shock, 55, of Aurora died Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015, at his home. He was born on June 11, 1960, to Clyde and Caroline (Boshey) Shock in Virginia. He grew up and attended school in Aurora. Following school he met and married Cynthia Roslee. The couple had four children. Wade was a member of the Bois Forte Band of Chippewa. Wade’s greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends whom he loved dearly. He is survived by three sons, Ryan (Kevin Mitchell) Shock of Aurora, Kyle Shock of Aurora and Travis Shock of International Falls; his mother, Caroline Boshey of Lake Vermilion; his father, Clyde Shock of Aurora; siblings, Bessie Medicine, Roberta Porter, Brian (Raini) Moyer, and Robert Moyer, Jr., all of Lake Vermilion; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his special friends, the Jones family. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Patricia Anne; one brother, Clyde Jr. “Pokers;” and numerous uncles and aunts.
