Funeral service for Helen H. Milos, 103, of Biwabik, will be 11am Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Community United Church of Christ in Biwabik with Pastor John Szarke officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at a later date in the Lakeside Cemetery in Biwabik. Arrangements by Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Gilbert, MN. Helen died Thursday, Sept 10, 2015 at Northern Pines Medical Center in Aurora, MN. She was born October 28, 1911 in Biwabik, MN to Erick and Lizzie (Sikkola) Maki. She was a 1929 graduate of Biwabik High School and later worked at the Main Tea Room in Duluth and the Cluett Peabody Shirt Factory in Gilbert. On June 2, 1930 she married Robert Kulaszewicz. She worked at the Biwabik IGA for 17 years and retired from there in 1969. Following Robert’s death, she married Ludvik Milos on April 2, 1969. Helen was a member of the Community United Church of Christ, the Biwabik Garden Club and the Biwabik Senior Citizens. She was also a member of the Slovenian Womens Union, Womens Life Insurance and AARP. Survivors include her son, Alan (Janice) Kulaszewicz of Chugiak, AK; daughter, Betty Lou Enquist of Biwabik; nine grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren; son-in-law, Rudolph Zattoni of Ely Lake; sister: Gladyce Lampi of Biwabik; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Robert; second husband, Ludvik; daughter, Roberta Zattoni; sisters: Sylvia Peterson, Lillian Isaacson and Elizabeth Klobuchar; son-in-law, Bernard Enquist; grandsons, Brian and Patrick Enquist; great grandson, Michael Roberts.
