Virginia "Jean" Kuitunen

A gathering of family and friends of Virginia M. “Jean” Kuitunen, 92, of Hutter, will be Friday September 25, 2015 from 10am-1:00pm at the Biwabik Township Hall in Biwabik Township. Inurnment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Arthritis Foundation. Virginia died Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Edgewood Vista in Virginia, MN. She was born May 15, 1923 in Fairview, New Jersey to Joseph and Mildred (Pasquarello) Adams. Following her schooling, she married Roy E. Kuitunen in Maryland. The couple moved to Biwabik Township where Virginia raised her family and was a homemaker. Survivors include her daughter, Ann Kuitunen of Maplewood; sons: Kenneth Kuitunen of Hutter and John (Shelley) Kuitunen of Hutter; grandchildren: Kellie, Elizabeth, Jenna, Katie, Alex, Anders and Eric; great grandchildren: Morgan and Mitchell; sister: Mildred of New Jersey and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy; daughter, Kathy; sister, Violet and a brother, Joseph
