Funeral service for Gregory Brian Reynolds, 67, of Chisholm, formerly of Aurora, will be 11am Friday, November 6, 2015 at Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora with Fr. Steven Daigle officiating. Visitation will be 5-7pm Thursday at the funeral home and also one hour prior to the service. Burial with military honors accorded by the Aurora/Hoyt Lakes Color Guard will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Aurora, MN. Greg died Monday, November 2, 2015 at Essentia Health – Duluth, MN. He was born June 11, 1948 in Aitkin, MN to Gilbert and Irene (O’Neil) Reynolds. Following his schooling, he was drafted into the US Army. He served in Vietnam. Following his military service, he worked construction. The effects of Agent Orange and a severe car accident left Greg disabled most of his adult life. He enjoyed time spent at the casino playing the slots or BINGO. He was a member of the Aurora American Legion Post 241. Greg never met a stranger, making friends wherever he went. He was a kind man and children flocked to him. He was a wonderful cook and sportsman who had a unique sense of humor. He will be missed. Survivors include his sons: Jason (Lynnette) Reynolds of Duluth and Jerrod (Brooke) Reynolds of Shakopee; granddaughter, Sydney; siblings: Sandy Hagen of Aitkin, Richard (Terri) Reynolds of Hoyt Lakes, Pam Reynolds of McKinley, Wendy (Eddie) Humphrys of Oklahoma and Melanie (Bill) Etsell of Oklahoma; numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sisters: Kathy and Michelle “Mickey”
