Memorial Service for James Allan Patton, 64, of Embarrass, will be 10:00am Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Grace and Truth Bible Church in Aurora with Pastor Daniel Miller officiating. Friends may gather one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements by Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora. James died Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Solvay Hospice House in Duluth, MN. He was born May 29, 1951 in Lansing, Michigan to Robert and Nina (Hardin) Patton. James graduated from high school in Waukegan, Illinois. On November 28, 1970 he married Judy Laughton in Eveleth, Minnesota. James worked as a millwright at US Steel and retired from there with 30 years of service. He was a member of Grace and Truth Bible Church and the Iron Cross Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed riding his Harley, but his true passion was his family. Survivors include his wife, Judy; daughters: Dawn (Kevin) Koski of Virginia, Carrie (Eli) Hejda of Gilbert and Tanya (Noah Hines) Patton of Gilbert; grandchildren: Eli, Miles and Wyatt Koski, Stefani Hejda, Abigail Edwards, Logan Hejda, Jayden and Ellie Hines; brother, Dan Patton of Hibbing; step brother, John Patton and his extended family of brothers in the Iron Cross. James is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Nina; grandmother, Bessie Hardin and step brothers, Billy and Bob.
