Michael Menton

Michael Dean Menton, 59, died Jan. 25, 2016. He was born Aug. 26, 1956 in Hibbing, MN. "Mike" graduated from the Horace Mann High School in Biwabik, MN. He worked for several years as an Optician in Rochester, MN. After relocating, he purchased Pearle Vision Center in Duluth and became the owner/manager of the business. Many happy years were spent in the Duluth area and many special friends were made along the way. It was a pleasure to do business with Mike. He was kind, gracious, and honest. Mike is survived by his parents, Donald and Marjorie Menton, sisters, Terri (Mark) Persson and Gail (Dennis) Heruth, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on March 12, 2016 at 12 P.M. followed by a 1 P.M. Memorial Service at the Ziemer-Moeglein-Shatava Funeral Home in Aurora, MN. Reception will be held at the American Legion in Aurora. Mike was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
